Middlesbrough to beat Millwall @ 2.20
Neil Warnock lost his job as Middlesbrough boss after their 1-1 draw at West Brom, paving the way for another former Sheffield United manager to take over. Chris Wilder has returned to the dugout at the Riverside and needs to snap a three-match winless run, including defeats by Birmingham and Luton. Millwall have won five of their last eight matches to surge into ninth place, one point off the play-offs. Their away form is poor though, having won only two of eight outings this term, and Wilder is fancied to make an instant impact in our UK football accumulator tips for Saturday.
Preston to beat Cardiff @ 2.10
North End have a very strong home record this season, losing just once in the Championship. That came on the opening day, leaving them unbeaten in seven and winning their last two against Coventry and Luton. Fifth-bottom Cardiff ended a 10-match winless streak, which included nine defeats and led to the sacking of Mick McCarthy, with victory over Huddersfield in their last outing. The Bluebirds have since appointed former striker Steve Morison as their caretaker boss until the end of the campaign, but have not won any of their last five on the road, losing four.
MK Dons to beat Burton @ 1.80
The Dons currently occupy a play-off spot after winning three of their previous four games, including their last two against Crewe and Cambridge by 4-1 scorelines. Burton have slipped six points off the top six after three defeats on the spin, albeit against top opposition in Oxford, Wigan and Charlton, and look worth opposing in our football accumulator tips today.
Rotherham to beat Cambridge @ 1.49
Rotherham are enjoying a 10-match unbeaten run which has lifted them to third in League One and they are fancied to keep that going on Saturday. Their last home game was a 5-1 thrashing of promotion rivals Sunderland and they have come through a tough run of fixtures with flying colours. Cambridge were thrashed 4-1 at MK Dons last weekend and went down by the same scoreline at struggling Shrewsbury three weeks earlier, with only four teams having a worse defensive record.
Exeter to beat Carlisle @ 1.80
Exeter are in great form after a 14-match unbeaten run which has lifted them to third in the table, two points off League Two leaders Forest Green. They have won their last four matches and face a Carlisle side that appear to be in a relegation battle. The Cumbrians are third bottom, one point above the bottom two, and have already replaced their manager. Keith Millen is now in charge, having taken over from Chris Beech, but his side are without a win in 10 league games. They do not travel well, losing five of their last six, and journeys do not come much longer than this.
