Leeds should be back to full strength and ready to put their stunning FA Cup defeat behind them when they face struggling Brighton.

The Whites slumped to a 3-0 loss at League Two side Crawley but rested several of their key players, who should now be refreshed and raring to go.

Brighton face a quick return to action after a tough game at Manchester City on Wednesday night so the timing of this game makes a home win at 21/20 an easy pick as our opening Leeds vs Brighton prediction.

A Look At Leeds United’s Betting Odds

Leeds may be in the bottom half of the table but are 11 points clear of the relegation zone and this looks a good opportunity to extend that gap.

Despite last weekend’s shock loss, Leeds have been in decent form in the league with three wins from their last five matches.

Losing at Manchester United and Tottenham is understandable for a team back in the top flight after such a long absence and they have been ruthless against the weaker teams in the division.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have won five out of five against teams currently in the bottom six and we’re expecting a lively start.

There have been more goals in the first half of the last four Leeds games in the league and that run looks good value to continue at 21/10 in the Brighton vs Leeds odds.

Last Leeds line-up: Casilla, Cooper, Struijk, Davis, Alioski, Hernandez, Phillips, Shackleton, Poveda, Costa, Rodrigo.

Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips serves a one-game ban but forward Tyler Roberts has recovered from illness and is in contention, while defenders Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente are also available.

A Look At Brighton and Hove Albion’s Betting Odds

Brighton stayed in the match right until the final whistle but were left with nothing to show for a spirited performance in the 1-0 defeat at Manchester City on Wednesday.

Phil Foden scored the only goal just before half-time and City should have made the margin of victory more comfortable but Raheem Sterling missed a late penalty and Bernardo Silva hit the woodwork.

Graham Potter’s side have now gone nine games without a win and remain 17th in the table, having played two more games than Fulham, who are immediately below them and only two points behind.

Forward Leandro Trossard said: “We had some half-chances, not really big chances, but I think overall we played a good game and we can learn from it.

“Against the top teams like Man City you don’t get a lot of chances and if you get chances you need to finish them, but I think we put a lot of effort in and it was only 1-0, so I think we did a great job.

“I think it is a bit like last year. I think we need to believe in ourselves. We play good football and just if we can get that win I think a lot of them can come.

“We just need to keep believing in it and we will try on Saturday to get the three points at Leeds.”

With Brighton desperate for a win, an open game looks likely so a home win and both teams to score at 11/5 is added to our Leeds vs Brighton betting tips.

Backing Lewis Dunk to score at anytime also appeals at 11/2, with the centre-back having scored two of Brighton’s last four league goals.

He is the obvious candidate to punish a Leeds defence which has struggled to defend corners this season.

Last Brighton line-up: Sanchez, White, Webster, Dunk, Bernardo, Burn, Veltman, Mac Allister, Propper, Trossard, Tau.

Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma is back from a ban but Tariq Lamptey (hamstring), Adam Lallana (groin), Alireza Jahanbakhsh (knock), Aaron Connolly (hamstring) and Danny Welbeck (knee) miss out again.
