Manchester United are looking to bounce back from a disappointing campaign which saw them finish sixth in the Premier League and miss out on a place in the Champions League.
The Red Devils got off to a slow start but picked up well when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was brought in to replace the axed Jose Mourinho.
However, once Solskjaer had been handed a permanent contract as head coach, United suffered another dip in fortunes.
Question marks remain over whether expensive recruits such as Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial will ever justify their huge wages.
Even outstanding goalkeeper David de Gea suffered a slump in form towards the end of last term, so Solskjaer has a big job on his hands to recapture the club’s former glories.
A record 20 English titles have been won, while Old Trafford’s bulging trophy cabinet was also boosted by three Champions League triumphs.
At least Solskjaer knows what it takes to succeed at the Theatre of Dreams, having famously scored the injury-time winner when United beat Bayern Munich to land the Treble back in 1999.
The Norwegian will also be aware of the fact that the Red Devils claimed outright glory when last in the Europa League two years ago, so there is plenty to play for.
With legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson still in the background to offer a helping hand, it would be no surprise to see a resurgence sooner, rather than later.
We’ll be tracking all the Man Utd betting odds throughout the campaign, as well as providing predictions and match previews on how they will fare.
